This safari combines Tanzania's best wildlife viewing with authentic cultural experiences at Lake Eyasi and a relaxing beach extension in Zanzibar. The inclusion of visits to the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes offers a unique cultural dimension rarely found in standard safari itineraries.
For safari:
For Zanzibar:
The safari portion involves moderate activity with game drives and some walking. The cultural visit to Lake Eyasi includes a bushwalk with the Hadzabe tribe, which requires basic mobility. The beach portion is entirely relaxing. Please inform us of any mobility concerns so we can accommodate your needs.
Zanzibar has a tropical climate with warm temperatures year-round (25-30°C/77-86°F). The dry season (June-October) offers the most pleasant beach weather, while the short rains (November-December) are still good for travel with occasional showers. The long rains (March-May) can be wetter but with fewer tourists.
